Idaho is one of only six states that does not fund pre-kindergarten, with even conservative states such as Mississippi and Utah launching pre-K programs.

Join City Club of Boise on August 26th, for a forum examining the prospects and the politics of  pre-K.

You will hear from Beth Oppenheimer, Executive Director of the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children, and Representative Christy Perry, R-Nampa, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee. Both have supported previous pre-K bills at the Idaho Statehouse-- and will provide an inside look at the issue heading into the next BethOppenheimerClegislative session.Perry1174
