Tour: Boise Citizen's Police Academy

Do you want to know more about how the Boise Police Department operates? If so, now is the time to join with other City Club Members in an informational tour of the Boise Police Citizen Academy Program and facility.  During this Tour, meet representatives from the Boise Police Department, tour the facility, and hear about the Citizen Police Academy Program. You’ll learn about the 10 week Citizen Police Academy Program recruitment and training, patrol duties, traffic enforcement, dispatchers role in 911 calls, School Resource Officers, Gangs, Narcotics, Community Outreach and so much more.


Please note that the Citizen Police Academy is a 10 week course separate from this City Club offered tour and requires applicants to be between the ages of 18-109 yrs and currently working or living in the Boise area to apply. Find out more about this opportunity at this City Club Tour!



Tour Details:


When: Monday, July 22nd 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Where: 333 N. Mark Stall Place, Boise, ID 83704

Cost: $15 for CCOB members, $20 for non-members


Attendees should plan to arrive by 3:15pm. Please wear adequate closed toed walking shoes and prepare for possible inclement weather.


Attendees are welcome to park anywhere in the front lot. Please do not enter the gated areas.



Pre-registration is requested, by 3 PM on Friday, July 19th. This event is limited to 20 attendees. As a City Club of Boise Member-Only Tour, Members are allowed to bring one guest, space permitting.
