City Club Forum - Ballot Initiatives in Idaho: Past, Present, and Future - REGISTER HERE
For over a century, Idaho citizens have used the ballot-initiative process to make their own laws. Citizen-led initiatives were responsible for expanding healthcare coverage, securing property tax relief, creating the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and much more.
How does the ballot-initiative process work? What do Idaho citizens think of it? Should the initiative rights of Idaho citizens be restricted; or should those rights be expanded? The upcoming forum will give the community a chance to learn about the past, present, and future of Idaho’s ballot-initiative process.
