About the Event

Mayor Lauren McLean took office as Boise’s 56th mayor in January 2020 as the city’s first elected female mayor. When we entered this year, no one could have predicted that we would be engulfed in a global pandemic. Many of her stated priorities - increased economic opportunity; housing policy to meet the needs of our residents; transportation to connect us with jobs; and the innovation that climate change requires - will be central to our recovery from COVID-19 and to delivering on her promise of a vibrant and engaged 21st century city for everyone. Join Mayor McLean on July 16 to hear about her priorities for moving our economy and community forward through recovery into resilience.

The conversation will be moderated by City Club of Boise forums committee member Katherine Himes.
